Job Summary:

Provides HR support to a specific gateway location.  Duties include scheduling interviews, data entry, new hire input, scanning/coping documents, assisting with and conducting new hire orientation and training, making ID badges, updating job postings, employee file maintenance, etc.

Job Duties:

  • Provides clerical support to the HR Generalist and corporate HR Manager.
  • Processes HR documents.  This includes data entry of employee information including new hire paperwork and change paperwork.  The information in the documents is absolutely confidential, and must be handled in the most professional manner.
  • Assists in scheduling, screening, and processing candidates and new hires.
  • Assists and conducts new hire orientation and training.  This includes creating new hire packets, orientation set-up, assisting new employees in obtaining Airport badges, coordinating with the hiring managers, making new employee badges, and answering applicant questions.
  • Answers routine employee questions and provides employee information as requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Job requirements:

  • The ability to work flexible hours in order to support a 24/7 operation
  • Ability to pass all required background checks for Airport access
  • Microsoft Word, Excel and email experience
  • Dependable
  • At least 3 years of clerical experience in an office setting

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior clerical experience in a warehouse, manufacturing or distribution center
  • Previous HR clerical support experience including HRIS system experience
  • Familiarity with basic employment laws
