Lgstx Services Inc. is currently interviewing candidates for an Auto Body Technician / Painter position. Applicants must demonstrate the necessary professional skills, experience, responsibility, and character to become part of the Lgstx Team. Auto Body Technician / Painters are responsible for body and paint repairs on various vehicles and GSE Equipment. (Ground Support Equipment)
Responsibilities
Applicants must have experience within the repairs of plastic, fiberglass, sheet metal and aluminum body panels using the proper methods of eliminating dents, tears, and scratches by shrinking and stretching metals and the use of proper filler materials; uses proper methods of applying sealers, primers and paints utilizing siphon and pressure pot applications; applies decals. Welds, and cuts steel and aluminum.
Qualification
Two (2) years of collision repair experience (work, school)
Ability to properly complete light to heavy repairs, including structural work.
Above average quality focus.
High production capabilities.
Have a complete set of mechanics tools appropriate to body and paint work.
Ability to create job materials and cost estimates.
Able to wear a respirator/safety protective equipment.
Must have high school diploma or G.E.D
Valid Driver’s License
