Position Summary

 

Provides a variety of cleaning responsibilities in office, restrooms and industrial areas.  Requisitions supplies.  Understands the safe and proper use of cleaning supplies and chemicals and the use and location of MSDS sheets.

 

Essential Functions

 

1. Thoroughly cleans office and/or industrial areas as trained.
2. Uses cleaning supplies and chemicals safely and properly according to MSDS sheets. 
3. Provides training to other Industrial Cleaners as needed. 
4. Updates Supervisor on progress, status of equipment, and levels of supplies. 

 

Qualifications

 

Required – High School Diploma or G.E.D. Must pass a required background and drug screen.

 

Preferred - Previous cleaning experience.  Dependable with strong interpersonal skills, including good verbal and written communication.
